A CD refresh to match the new brand positioning.
With the development of a new corporate design, we visualised and accompanied the new brand identity and campaign of the telecommunications company - which reaches more than 12.9 million households in Germany. This has turned the Unitymedia brand into an experience.
The new corporate design, which is not satisfied with the status quo, turns the brand into a programme or experience. Everything is questioned - to surprise, excite and inspire. It reflects the new brand positioning through a colourful world that is varied and surprising. And that again and again anew. In addition, there is a diverse set of design elements.
A differentiating visual world without clichés tells stories from the lives of Unitymedia customers. The Colour Twister, the most important design tool, characterises the new design as an extremely dynamic and flexible element and, together with the logo, strengthens the brand's recognisability.
For the internal brand launch, the motto is "We challenge the status quo". Since such a paradigm shift does not happen overnight, the employees have to be picked up and motivated accordingly. With a starter box including brand booklet and brand calendar, they experience the new brand "live" for the first time.
The new CD guideline is not a strict set of rules. It offers a flexible framework that allows brand users to quickly adapt to new circumstances and not become repetitive. However, they have to learn how to use it. That's why we train them accordingly during the transformation phase. We also run the CD hotline: a contact point for questions about the new CD and a release point for corresponding implementations.
The offer is complemented by evoq lab's developed BrandNet - another important CD station: the website is an online library, also in the colourful "from today on, anything goes" look, which provides all assets, templates, colour palettes, image databases and much more for download.
