Adventures for families - efficiency in marketing
Coop, one of Switzerland's largest retail chains, commissioned evoq to develop the key visual and visual identity system for its new “Fantasy World” exhibition. The aim is to transform Coop shopping centers into magical and adventurous places for families, young adults and children. A new world of cosplay combined with a fantastic treasure hunt and the launch of the exclusive trading card game “Seekers of Legends” are set to increase visitor numbers and sales figures.
Bringing Fantasy World to life
With the “Fantasy World” exhibition, Coop aims to offer its customers a unique shopping experience. The evoq design team created the key visual, consisting of various elements from Fantasy World and also developed a uniform visual design that appeals to and inspires families, young adults and children and can be easily adapted by the implementation partners to all physical and digital advertising spaces. Thanks to the consistent Fantasy World experience and the exklusive “Seekers of the Legends” trading card game, customers are encouraged to take part in the adventurous treasure hunt, also promotes repeat visits to Coop shopping centers.
The evoq approach
Inspired by the design elements of the creators of the trading card game, evoq created the key visual, optimized the design palette and regulated the flexible interaction of all elements with a well-thought-out modular design system. The result is a set of production-ready design elements and layout templates for a wide range of physical and digital advertising materials. They all convey the magical character of the “Fantasy World” and enable the consistent implementation of a wide variety of communication media.
From idea to immersive experience
The design concept enables Coop to create a consistent and eye-catching immersive event concept within its shopping centers. From signage, banners and trading cards to interactive displays a “Fantasy World” experience has been created that immerses visitors in the magical world and brings them closer to the theme of cosplay.
Measurable enthusiasm
Coop's “Fantasy World” exhibition has been a resounding success, with evoq's comprehensive design system playing a decisive role. During the promotional period, visitor numbers and sales in participating Coop shopping centers rose steadily. The campaign also generated a lot of buzz on social media. There were many likes, comments and shares. Last but not least, customers gave positive feedback and were enthusiastic about the playful and visually appealing experience.
